Wat Klong Toey Nai

Wat Klong Toey Nai is the first and only temple in Thailand that offers funerals not just for human beings, but also for animals. Modern cremation ovens are used for this purpose, just like in the case with human beings.

This has turned the Klong Toey Nai temple into a bit of an attraction in itself, and different media outlets have already reported about it.

The temple is located in an industrial area of Bangkok, not far from many oil refineries. The temple compound is 12 rai large.
The current abbot is Phra Sunthorn Kitjapiwat.
In the temple there is a buddha footprint and the principal Buddha image is Pra Buddha Si Sanpet, made from stone, covered with gilt lacquer.
