Bangkok Temple Tours

Wat Paramaiyikawat (also called Wat Poramai) is a Buddhist Mon temple located on the small Koh Kred island in Northern Bangkok.

This temple was restored by King Rama V to honor his grandmother. There is a replica of the Mutao Pagoda in Hanthawadi. Hanthawadi is the capital of the Burmese Mon kingdom. There are many people who are descendents of Mon immigrants generations ago who still live on this island here.
